Proof of Trader for Polymarket and Outcome Traders
How Proof of Trader measures Polymarket and Outcome volume at the price paid per share, earns 1 VXP per $100, and makes prediction history portable.
Proof of Trader reads your Polymarket and Outcome trades from your wallet and counts prediction-market volume at the price you paid per share, not at the $1 a winning share pays out. That volume earns 1 VXP per $100, ten times the rate of perps, and it sits in one verified record next to the rest of your trading. Until 30 November 2026, 23:59 UTC, Polymarket traders with a Proof of Trader can also see Outcome's offer of up to a $600 volume bonus.
Why prediction traders are invisible to exchanges
A prediction-market trader can have years of active, real-money history and still look like a new user to every other platform.
There are three reasons. The trading happens onchain, so it never shows up in an exchange's records. Exchange VIP programmes and fee tiers look at perps and spot volume on their own books, not at shares bought on a prediction market. And the usual way to prove activity, a screenshot of a profile page, proves very little.
The result is that prediction-market traders tend to start from zero wherever they go. Their history exists, but nobody else can check it.
The passport makes that history checkable. It is built from your actual trades and venue-reported totals, not from anything you type in, and it puts prediction-market volume in the same record as your perps, options, spot and onchain swaps.
How prediction volume is measured
Prediction-market shares trade between $0 and $1. When a market resolves, winning shares pay out $1 and losing shares pay nothing. That creates an obvious question: which number is your volume?
The passport uses the price you paid per share. That is the money you actually put at risk.
| You do this | Volume that counts |
|---|---|
| Buy 1,000 shares at $0.40 | $400 |
| Buy 2,000 shares at $0.15 | $300 |
| Buy 500 shares at $0.90 | $450 |
| A winning position pays out $1 per share | $0: payouts don't count |
The examples are hypothetical. The point is that a long-shot bet at $0.15 is not inflated to its $1 payout value, and a resolution payout is not treated as a trade at all. Payouts, deposits and transfers don't count; trades you chose to make do.
VXP: 1 per $100 of prediction volume
Proof of Trader awards VXP, Voltrade's points, on verified volume:
- Prediction markets: 1 VXP per $100
- Spot and onchain swaps: 1 VXP per $100
- Perpetuals and options: 1 VXP per $1,000
The reason for the difference is leverage. On a perp DEX, $1,000 of margin at 20x produces $20,000 of notional volume. On a prediction market, $1,000 of volume means $1,000 spent on shares. Counting both at the same rate would make prediction traders look ten or twenty times smaller than they are.
Using the first row of the table above: $400 of shares earns 4 VXP. The same VXP would take $4,000 of perps volume.
Which venues count
Two prediction markets are supported today:
- Polymarket: read from the wallet you sign in to Polymarket with.
- Outcome: read from your wallet.
Both connect the same way as every other wallet venue. You prove the wallet is yours with a signature, which is not a transaction and costs no gas. Nothing is ever traded or moved on your behalf. Is Proof of Trader safe? explains the signature and what the passport can and can't see.
If you also trade elsewhere, connect that too. The passport covers 49 venues, so a trader who uses Polymarket alongside a perp DEX or a centralised exchange ends up with one record split by venue and by instrument.
The Outcome offer for Polymarket traders
Outcome is one of the six genesis partners on Proof of Trader. Its offer is aimed at Polymarket traders: up to a $600 volume bonus.
How it works:
- Your verified Polymarket volume sets which tier you see, from Starter to Legendary.
- You activate the offer if you want it. You can run it alongside other offers.
- You trade on Outcome and reach the tier's target by 30 November 2026, 23:59 UTC.
The Outcome offer is first to fill. Activating it doesn't reserve a reward: bonuses go to the first traders to reach the target, until that tier's bonuses are gone. The offer page shows the exact terms for your tier, and those terms are what count.
Like every completed deal, a finished Outcome offer makes a shareable card. Learn more about Outcome at outcome.xyz.
Other offers live on the passport include Derive for options traders, TxFlow fee rebates and Trigr.xyz for AI trading agents, all until the same date. The 14 types of trading deals explains how bonuses, rebates and first-to-fill rewards differ.
Making your history portable
The useful thing about a verified record is that it travels.
It is yours, and it is private. The passport is not public. On the public leaderboard you appear only as an anonymous alias with rounded figures, never your name, wallets or socials.
You choose what to show. The only public piece is a card you download and share. It can show or hide your X picture and name. "Your story" walks through your record slide by slide.
It can't be claimed twice. A wallet counts on one passport only. Once a reward is paid on it, that wallet is bound to that passport for good. For prediction traders this matters, because platforms are more willing to make offers when they know the same history can't be farmed from a second account.
It estimates your value. The passport estimates what your flow is worth to platforms through fee rebates, token incentives, trading bonuses and competition prizes. It is an estimate from your verified volume, not an offer.
For the bigger picture of what the record is for, see What is Proof of Trader?. If you also swap onchain, Proof of Trader for onchain and Base traders covers what counts there. Connect your wallet at voltrade.xyz/proof-of-trader.
FAQ
How does Proof of Trader calculate Polymarket volume?
At the price paid per share. Buying 1,000 shares at $0.40 counts as $400 of volume. Resolution payouts don't count.
How much VXP does prediction-market volume earn?
1 VXP per $100 of prediction-market volume, compared with 1 VXP per $1,000 of perps and options volume.
What is the Outcome offer on Proof of Trader?
Outcome offers Polymarket traders up to a $600 volume bonus, with tiers set by verified Polymarket volume. It runs until 30 November 2026, 23:59 UTC, and bonuses go to the first traders to reach the target.
Does activating the Outcome offer guarantee a bonus?
No. It is first to fill: activating doesn't reserve a reward, and bonuses go to the first traders to hit their target while that tier's bonuses last.
Do I need an API key to add Polymarket?
No. Polymarket and Outcome are read from your wallet, which you prove with a free signature. No transaction and no gas.
