How Paper Cuts works

1. Your account, your money. Every run trades a real BTC perpetual on your own papertrade.xyz account at Hyperliquid's mid. Voltrade never holds your funds and never takes the other side.
2. One signature. Enable trading signs a papertrade session key that can open and close positions for 30 days. It cannot withdraw or move funds.
3. Launch and watch. Timed: the algo reads the tape every second for 1–3 minutes and is always flat at the bell. Auto: the algo goes long or short and closes on its own signals, again and again, until your take profit or max loss is hit, however long that takes. Every trade uses your full margin; the run stops as soon as its total PnL reaches your take profit or max loss. Close position flattens the current trade; STOP ends the run.
4. Or trade it yourself. Manual mode opens one long or short with your trading key and keeps it until you close it (or it busts), while the algo board shows where all 50 algos stand right now.
5. Bigger orders fill first. Every order waits in papertrade's queue, and papertrade fills larger orders ahead of smaller ones. A small margin can wait longer when the queue is busy; an order not filled within 15 s is re-sent.
6. The maths is brutal. papertrade busts a position about 5 bps before zero equity, takes 2% fees and trims small wins. At 1000× a 5 bps wiggle ends the run.
